A standard installation assumes the charger and cable stay on your own property. If you park on the street, or the cable would cross a pavement or shared path, your installation will needs extra preparation — permission from the council and a safe way to route the cable, such as a channel set into the pavement. That is possible in many areas, but it isn't part of the standard price, so we handle it separately.
